exclusive on an alleged Russian mob dumping ground in Ulster County, the FBI
tells News 12’s Blaise Gomez that a body was found in Ellenville
last week.
Gomez broke the story
Thursday that people living on Ulster Heights Road in Ellenville told her that
FBI investigators were seen digging in the backyard of a home for two days last
week.
One neighbor says they were told by an agent that they were following up on a tip about a cold case tied to the Russian mob - and they saw evidence removed from the property.
Neighbors say the homeowner bought the house a few years ago and the investigation has nothing to do with the person living there.
The FBI says no further comment can be made due to the ongoing investigation.
