One man is dead and another is injured after a car accident in Warwick.Police say the accident happened at around 5 a.m. Monday on Route 1 between Horseshoe Lane and Blooms Corners Road.Investigators say the driver lost control of the vehicle, sending the car into a pond about 7 feet deep. Emergency crews pulled the driver and a passenger out of the water and rushed them to St. Anthony's Hospital.One of the men was pronounced dead at the hospital and the other man is in critical condition on a respirator. There is no word yet on what caused the men to crash, but witnesses reported seeing the car swerving moments before it lost control. Police are not releasing the names of the victims, but both are believed to be from the Warwick area.
