Water main break leaves many in Mount Kisco without water
A water main break is still not fixed this morning, leaving some Mount Kisco families out of water.
The break happened in Mount Kisco around 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Route 117 and Norm Avenue.
Officials say it is taking a long time to fix because water crews thought the break happened on one side of the road.
However, once they dug into the ground, they found out the water was coming from the other side.
Nearby stores didn't have water, making some shopping experiences problematic.
"They can’t' use the bathroom. They can’t drink water, they can’t wash their hands. It's very bad," says Orga Burgos of Mount Kisco.
Crews expected the break to be fixed Saturday night, but the Mount Kisco police say the source of the break has not yet been found and could be a while before water is tuned back on.
