Westchester Police Emergency Service Unit conducts special training at closed Galleria Mall
The Westchester Police Emergency Service Unit (ESU) is utilizing the closed Galleria Mall for specialized training.
ESU members recently underwent training at the mall in White Plains to refine their rope rescue techniques.
The drills encompass a spectrum of scenarios, from rescuing individuals who have fallen down elevator shafts to those who have fallen from two-story ledges.
Following the simulations, the "victims" are safely retrieved to receive necessary medical care.
