Westchester County Executive George Latimer says there haven't been any incidents of criminal activity during protests in the wake of George Floyd's police custody death.

Westchester County Executive George Latimer is providing a coronavirus update.
BRIEFING NOTES:
  • Mamaroneck Town Supervisor Nancy Selgson joins Executive Latimer during his briefing.
  • Latimer gives credit to Westchester residents and police departments for keeping the peace during protests in the county.
  • Latimer: There are 1,000 active COVID-19 cases in the county. The overnight fatality number continues to be low. There were 4 on Thursday.
  • Latimer: Rye Playland pool will not open this year. The beach, however, is open. A plan to reconstruct the pool will hopefully be expedited. 
  • Latimer extends Bicycle Sunday program through July and August. 
  • Information about county-operated pools.
  • July Fourth fireworks have been canceled at Rye Playland
