Two students charged in Greenburgh attack face judge
Two of the six students charged with assaulting an eighth-grader at a Greenburgh high school appeared in court Tuesday.Dion Wilkerson, a football player at Woodlands Middle/High School, and Akeim Hyatt, both 17, were arrested Saturday for attacking a 14-year-old student. The victim, whose leg was broken in two places, said he was attacked last Wednesday after an incident with a female student.Wilkerson and Hyatt, along with two other suspects, are due back in court Friday. If convicted, they face seven years behind bars.
