Swastikas on Hastings home investigated as hate crime
Hastings residents gathered at the Temple Beth Shalom Thursday to discuss a recent hate crime incident.
According to officials, a home was vandalized with six swastikas, eggs and the word "Jews" on Dec. 29, 2015.
"This ghastly swastika display represents an assault not just on this one home, but on the entire Westchester community," ADL New York Regional Director Evan Bernstein says.
In March 2015, a teen was arrested and charged for defacing dorm room walls at Purchase College with swastikas.
Police say this Hasting hate crime may be the work of kids as well.
