The Rockland County commissioner of health says she wants schools to have at least 95 percent measles vaccination rates.
There have been 128 cases of the measles in Rockland County in a four-month span, and there have been a number of free MMR vaccine clinics.

"Since Oct. 3, we have provided 14,449 MMR vaccines - 13,903 of them we provided to children," says Rockland County Commissioner of Health Dr. Patricia Ruppert.
The outbreak was mainly contained within the Orthodox Jewish community.
News 12 requested documents from the state that show MMR vaccination rates as low as 42 percent during the 2017-2018 school year, even though the state requires all students to be vaccinated unless they have a medical or religious exception.
Some schools that didn't provide vaccination rates to the county were fined thousands of dollars.
News 12 went to the Skill Building Center in Spring Valley, a yeshiva with a 46.6 percent MMR vaccination rate. After being told to wait in the cold, News 12 was kicked off the property.
Dr. Ruppert does say that things are getting better.
"The rates in those schools have improved over time," she says.
