Rally held for man shot by NYPD after pursuit
A rally was held Friday to protest the death of a Bronx man who was shot and killed by a police officer in Yonkers earlier this week.
The Stop Mass Incarceration Network organized the rally in the Bronx for the death of 36-year-old Miguel Espinal.

An NYPD officer shot and killed Espinal, who was unarmed, after a police pursuit on Tuesday that began in the Bronx and carried into Yonkers.
Protesters say the officer who killed Espinal should be prosecuted.
"Wearing a badge does not mean you are above the law," said protester Juanita Young.
Espinal's family was not associated with the rally.
The 36-year-old was driving without a license and had a criminal record. But protesters say that's no reason to take a life, and they need answers.
"If he was driving recklessly, how did he die by shooting?" said Ira Baez, whose son was killed by a NYPD officer in 1994.
The state Attorney General's Office has begun an investigation.
