Ossining elected officials take oath of office
A total of 12 officials were sworn into office during Ossining's Inauguration Day Friday.
Among the elected officials were Kevin Sylvester, the town and village's new police chief. The 35-year-old Ossining native is taking over for Chief Joseph Burton, who retired after 48 years with the department.
Sylvester is the first new chief since 1991.
Dana Levenberg was also sworn in as town supervisor.
