A man is wanted for following and groping a woman as she walked into a subway station, according to police.

NYPD: Man gropes woman at Nassau Avenue G train station
A man is wanted for following and groping a woman as she walked into a subway station, according to police.
Police say the incident happened Monday, Feb. 11 just after 5 p.m.
They say he followed a 28-year-old woman down the stairs into the Nassau Avenue G train station in Greenpoint.
Investigators say he reached around from behind her and touched her inappropriately. Police tell News 12 she fought back, shoving him into a wall.
He is described as about 25 years old and about 5 feet 3 inches. He was last seen wearing a dark colored knit cap, a gray or green jacket, light blue and black jeans, boots and had on a black backpack.
News 12 is told he was last seen running westbound on Nassau Avenue.
The victim was not hurt.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
