Hudson Valley police departments increase patrols around religious sites following aerial attack

In response to recent aerial attacks by Iran against Israel, police departments across the Hudson Valley have announced heightened patrols around religious and cultural locations as many prepare to celebrate upcoming religious holidays.
The Israeli military reported that more than 300 missiles and drones were fired into their airspace over a period of five hours.
Gov. Kathy Hochul has stated that the National Guard and Homeland Security are on high alert to protect places of worship and other high-profile locations. However, she emphasized that New York is not currently aware of any domestic threats.
