A White Plains woman is recovering Friday after she was struck by a car while jogging on Barker Avenue near Cottage Place. She was taken to Westchester Medical Center for surgery on head injuries. The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating. No charges have been filed.
A Rockland driver is recovering from minor injuries following a three-car crash on 287. Emergency crews say one car rolled over. The drivers were all able to get out of their cars and were taken to the hospital.
An Ulster County man is accused of breaking into the same restaurant. Police say Shane Burr, of Highland, was arrested earlier this month for a burglary in progress at the Asian Garden Restaurant on Main Street. Now, police say he broke into the same restaurant again. Burr is facing new charges for burglary and larceny. He's in Ulster County Jail and is due back in court in January.
