Officials say a woman was struck by a car while jogging in White Plains on Wednesday.
The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m.
The 61-year-old woman was hit by a car traveling on Barker Avenue near Cottage Place.
She suffered head injuries and was taken to Westchester Medical Center and underwent surgery.
The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police. No charges have been filed.
