Family and friends of a Spring Valley girl gathered Saturday to remember a young life that was taken too soon.
Brianna Angel Ireus died January 26, just 10 days before her 1st birthday, when the minivan she was riding in with her family lost control and flipped over on a New Jersey highway. Brianna was found dead outside the van, still belted into her car seat. During the mass, Brianna's mother screamed as the reality of seeing her daughter for the last time set in.
Although she was just a baby, those who came in contact with Brianna say she left a lasting impression on them.
