Police are trying to find out who firedshots through the windows of state Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins'Westchester County office. It happened twice last month; the senator's Yonkers office alsowas ransacked.

Cops probe violence at Sen. Stewart-Cousins' office
Police are trying to find out who firedshots through the windows of state Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins'Westchester County office. It happened twice last month; the senator's Yonkers office alsowas ransacked. Senate Minority Leader Malcolm Smith of Queens is calling forthe public to come forward with information about the incidents. Stewart-Cousins' spokeswoman, Allyson Felix, says that in onecase, a bullet shattered the glass of the second-floor office whilea staffer was sitting nearby. Felix would not say whether the senator was in the office at thetime of the incidents. Stewart-Cousins, a first-term Democratic senator who won a tightelection contest in 2006, is planning to seek re-election inNovember.
