A chain-reaction crash sent an emergency services truck barreling into a building in White Plains early Saturday morning.
Police say 34-year-old Issac Tayler of Milford, Connecticut, was under the influence when he made an illegal U-turn at the intersection of Waller Avenue and East Post Road around 2 a.m. They say Tayler then slammed into an emergency-service truck, which careened into the front of a store.
Tayler is charged with a driving while impaired and was hit several summonses, including refusal to take a breathalyzer and unsafe U-turn.
No injuries have been reported. The store owner says the business will be open again on Wednesday after the holiday.
