6 months out, still no sign of Lauren Spierer
Six months after Westchester County native Lauren Spierer disappeared from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., her family is still not giving up hope, continuing to hold vigils and search for their missing daughter.
Spierer disappeared June 3 after a night of partying at an off-campus bar. According to officials, she left for home without her shoes or cell phone, and hasn't been seen since.
Police say while they have received more than 2,500 tips, they have no new developments in the case.
Lauren's parents, Charlene and Robert Spierer, are continuing to ask for anyone with information to come forward to help find their daughter.
A vigil will be held tonight at Lauren Spierer's apartment in Bloomington marking the six-month anniversary of her disappearance.
