A Westchester non-profit is celebrating a huge milestone after a very tough year.
Youth Theatre Interactions in Yonkers marked 40 years of service last night after almost having to close, due to devastating weather damage this past year.
At its brand new location, the theater company hosted a birthday fundraiser with a silent auction and a jam session. "When we're able to raise money, what it does is, it allows us to continue our program. Our mission at YTI is to provide quality performing arts training to kids who wouldn't be able to afford it," says Artistic Director Donise Lyons.
All proceeds from the event will go toward teaching children in the performing arts.
