Yorktown park to be renamed in honor of late Town Supervisor Tom Diana

The Granite Knolls Recreation And Sports Complex on Stony Street will be renamed Tom Diana Park.

A Yorktown park will be renamed this weekend in honor of a former town supervisor who died unexpectedly earlier this year.

The Granite Knolls Recreation And Sports Complex on Stony Street will be renamed Tom Diana Park.

A portion of East Main Street will also be renamed to Supervisor Tom Diana Memorial Highway.

The renaming ceremony is scheduled for Saturday at 9 a.m.

Diana died less than a week after being sworn in after the 2023 election.

He was 66 years old.
