An employee at a Yorktown assisted living facility is facing charges after police say she stole credit cards from residents.
Authorities say the incidents happened at The Country House.
Police say the first case was reported in April, when a resident discovered a credit card had been stolen and attempts were made to use it in White Plains.
Then in May, another resident reported that three credit cards had been taken and used in Port Chester.
Investigators identified 41-year-old Kimon Hughes, of White Plains, as the suspect.
She is now facing charges including grand larceny and identity theft.
Police say Hughes was arraigned and released without bail.
The facility says it no longer employees Hughes.
