Yonkers woman indicted for stealing $275K from disabled coworker in Bronx

The Bronx District Attorney alleges that 40-year-old Shameca Morrison used forged documents to withdraw $1,000 a day from a 78-year-old Bronx man's bank account.

A Yonkers woman has been indicted for stealing $275,000 from her elderly, disabled coworker.
The Bronx District Attorney alleges that 40-year-old Shameca Morrison used forged documents to withdraw $1,000 a day from a 78-year-old Bronx man's bank account.
This theft occurred between June 2021 and August 2022, following the man's suffering of two strokes.
Morrison is scheduled to return to court in April.
