Yonkers residents stock up on essentials at Stew Leonard’s before storm

Many Yonkers residents traveled to Stew Leonard’s on Saturday to prepare for the stormy weekend weather.
Cristian Cruz, the vice president of the store, expects to sell around 20,000 pounds of rock salt. He says sales of butter, milk and eggs will triple this weekend.
Cruz says the store also brought in their bakers at 2 a.m. to prepare for the shoppers.
News 12’s Jade Nash spoke with residents who were stocking up on essentials.
