Parking could become a problem for some people who live at an apartment complex in Yonkers.

Residents who live at Seven Pines Towers said they weren't given enough notice that the garage they pay for is going to be shut down soon for repairs.

They said they got a memo from FirstService Residential stating that all cars are required to be removed from the parking structure by Wednesday.

The decision left several residents feeling frustrated and unsure about what to do with their cars. They said they fear that street parking is limited and not always accessible.

"I'm a senior citizen and I have a medical issue and I have to be close by, so I can't see myself walking two or three blocks everyday [to get my car,]" resident Glenn Smith said.

News 12 reached out to FirstService Residential for a comment, but have not heard back yet.
