The city of Yonkers recognized dozens of veterans today on the 43rd anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War.
The brave men from Yonkers who lost their lives in Vietnam now have their names forever etched in stone at Veterans Memorial Plaza.
Former Yonkers City Court Judge Edward Gaffney, a Vietnam veteran, says even after four decades many Vietnam veterans still struggle with the physical and emotional wounds of war.
Veterans from World War II, Korea and Iraq were also on hand for today's tribute to Vietnam veterans.
