Yonkers police are warning residents of scams involving fraudulent contractor services.

Yonkers police shared a poster on Facebook Friday night warning residents about the fraudulent services.

Authorities say contractors will negotiate a job and accept partial payment but never complete the work.

Police also have a warning about a second group of scammers in the community who have been selling fake jewelry out of different vehicles.
