Officials say people littering in Yonkers could soon be caught on camera.
The City Council passed a new bill called the “Litter Free Streets Act.” The bill would implement surveillance cameras to record people dumping trash or littering.
The bill was approved with a vote of 4-to-3.
The “Litter Free Streets Act” now heads to the mayor's desk for his signature.
