A police department spokesman says the officer, who is in his 50s, was released from Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx last week.
The officer was one of several who responded to 52 Main St. on a report of a man waving a gun and threatening people.
During the event, the officer was injured when he fell from a third-floor landing to the second-floor landing.
