It was a frigid finish to the week! Now eyes are on the snow this weekend. Snow showers arrive overnight and into Saturday midday. A system moves into the Hudson Valley, bringing potentially a coating to an inch or so of snow, with higher amounts more North.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory through most of Saturday.
A coastal storm will try to move close to the East Coast Sunday. The trend has been to keep the system offshore, but there may be some flurries for the first half of the day.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day will be dry, but winds will return. Another round of Arctic air will follow the holiday, making midweek next week feel near zero degrees or even colder.
