Sachi Nails & Body in downtown Yonkers offers customers a taste of Tulum.

The owners say it’s not your traditional mani-pedi venue.

"Everything that we created in the ensemble was derived from Tulum and our experience,” says co-owner Robert Roberts.

Co-owner Jerron Love tells News 12 the goal of opening the shop was to provide the area with “something different.”

Celtics player Jaylen Brown stopped by to support the owners, along with Grammy-nominated rapper Ja Rule. Ja Rule offered a little advice to men hesitant to pamper themselves: "Don't be ashamed to go get yourself pampered man, get your feet done,” he said.

Some of the services offered by Sachi Nails & Body staff include brow tinting, waxing, massages, manicures/pedicures and facials. Mimosas are offered to patrons 21 and older.

Those who purchase a VIP subscription or spend more than $90 are entitled to free transportation from the Yonkers waterfront or the Metro-North station.
