Firefighters at Yonkers Fire Department were treated to a special surprise visit Tuesday night from Christopher Roman, a man they saved from a fiery car crash in 2010.
Christopher Roman's accident was so bad that he had to be cut from the car and was actually pronounced dead on the scene.
He was revived on the way to the hospital and was given a 50% chance he would walk again.
He proved the doctors wrong and regained his ability to walk again. It took him about six years to fully recover.
Roman says it was a small price to pay for being saved and he walked right back to the fire station to see the men credited with saving his life.
