A Yonkers man has pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in the shooting death of another Yonkers man in 2020, the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office says.
Authorities say Jerome Wilson shot Chazz Mitchell, 25, during a fight on Oak Street.
Wilson, 28, was arrested in April 2022 in Charlotte, North Carolina following a law enforcement operation involving Yonkers police, the FBI, the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office and Charlotte police.
He has been promised 15 years in state prison when he is sentenced in July.
