yesterdayA Yonkers man arrested last month outside of the home of an Iranian dissident journalist has been indicted on a weapons count.
Khalid Mehdiyev is charged with one count of possessing a firearm for standing outside of the Brooklyn home with a Chinese made AK-47-style assault rifle.
The NYPD says he was also driving without a license.
Mehdiyev has been held without bail since July 29.
