The contest is only for Yonkers residents. Participants must be between 10-14 years old for Yonkers Junior Idol and between 15-19 years old for Yonkers Idol.

1h agoCalling all Yonkers singers -- the search for the next Idol is on.
City residents can compete to be the 15th Yonkers and Yonkers Junior Idol.
The contest is only for Yonkers residents. Participants must be between 10-14 years old for Yonkers Junior Idol and between 15-19 years old for Yonkers Idol.
The competition is set to kick off at Lincoln High School on April 1 at 5 p.m.
Winners will receive a cash prize from the Untermyer Performing Arts Council Teresa Fund and be given performance opportunities at numerous events throughout Yonkers during the year.
