Yonkers recognized a group of World War II veterans Wednesday on the steps of City Hall.
The Honor Flight group will soon visit the war memorial in Washington, D.C.
A memorial outside Yonkers City Hall honors the 526 residents killed in World War II.
The veterans will visit the national World War II memorial and other historical sights.
