Yonkers is providing sandbags to its residents to help prevent flooding this weekend.

Those who live in the city can get them at the recycling center at 735 Saw Mill River Road Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. and Sunday 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Each resident can pick up five bags.
