Yonkers firefighters battled a blaze at a cemetery in Yonkers.
Emergency officials say an equipment shed went up in flames at the Saint Joesph's Cemetery on Truman Avenue around 10:30 a.m.
Yonkers crews are still investigating, but a lawn mower malfunction is believed to be the cause.
"We also had a lot of flammable liquids that we had to remove," says Assistant Fire Chief Robert Antulov. "Two dozen gasoline cans, there is also propane on the premises and tires and hay, so it was a very smoky fire."
Crews claim that some equipment was damaged, but all of the cemetery workers got out safely.
