Arson dogs were at the scene of a Yonkers fire that investigators say was intentionally set to cover up a drug operation.
Fire officials say they responded to a call at a three-story building at 23 Park Hill Ave. around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Narcotics investigators say the top floor of the building was being used as a marijuana grow house, and that the grower likely set the fire to cover up his illegal operation.
Three firefighters suffered minor injuries in the one-alarm fire.
Nine people living on the second floor all got out safely, but they are now homeless. They are being helped with temporary shelter from the Red Cross.
