A raging fire in Yonkers left 20 people, including eight children, displaced.
The flames started at around 1:30 a.m. Sunday at 174 Linden St.
Fire officials say crews found the first floor engulfed in flames, which spread to the second floor.
Officials say seven families were inside the home sleeping at the time. Four cats died as a result of the fire.
Two people were treated for smoke inhalation at the hospital, along with four firefighters who suffered minor injuries.
Displaced families are being assisted by the Red Cross.
Fire officials are investigating what sparked the blaze.
