A family of six is homeless after a blaze at their Yonkers apartment.Fire officials say the blaze broke out around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on Ludlow Street. Authorities say it took more than 30 firefighters about 40 minutes to contain the blaze.Investigators say the fire started in a bedroom on the fourth floor of the building. Authorities say the other seven apartments in the building were not damaged.Six people were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Authorities say one person also had facial lacerations and one firefighter suffered minor injuries from battling the blaze.
