Crowds came out Monday night to the menorah lighting at the Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers to celebrate the second night of the Jewish holiday.

Hanukkah celebrations are underway in the Hudson Valley.
Crowds came out Monday night to the menorah lighting at the Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers to celebrate the second night of the Jewish holiday.
The Chabad of Yonkers hosted the event bringing people together.
Attendees got to enjoy live music, cultural dancing and Hanukkah treats.
"Today is Hanukkah as you can see, we celebrate the second night of Hanukkah and Chronicles is very special time that everyone comes with their families. It's a time to see how we can make a difference in the world by adding a drop for life," says Rabbi Mendy Hurwitz, the Chabad of Yonkers.
Hanukkah ends Monday, Dec. 26.
