So, hello everyone. I'm meteorologist Addison Green. And it's time for your latest news, 12 plus hyperlocal forecast for the Hudson Valley. Well, we have the new month right here of December and unfortunately, we're moving into the very first days dealing with rain showers on the way, not just for this Friday afternoon, but also in towards Sunday. So between the two weekend days, Saturday is the better of the days to be out and about, I know there's a small chance we're watching a few passing showers out there for Wednesday of next week. We're out and about across the region was the system move towards the area, producing light scag showers coming down. But then there's also some heavier downpours up across central Pennsylvania that'll try to move over this way as you go through the evening rush and then start to fade away after that. So adding up that initial batch of rainfall, you can see not a ton coming around maybe about 1/10 2 10th of an inch or so. Then we have the second system coming on here for Sunday. We may be seeing those numbers being added by an additional inch or more. Yes, they were looking about half an inch or so. So these numbers have kind of doubled in the past 24 hours between the different computer model runs. So towards 530 we have light to moderate rain coming on down from light green to dark green, highlighted areas right there in Middletown, for instance, then we go in towards Friday evening showers are wrapping on up and towards your day on Saturday may deal some patchy fog. A muggy feeling in the air for a lot of moisture around, but it will be a mild day with a mix of sunny clouds. Then heading out over in towards Sunday's time frame. We see light rain moving on in towards the lunchtime hour and unfortunately, some batches of moderate rain may come on down as you're going through the afternoon hour time frame overnight. Tonight, temperatures dip down towards only the low to mid forties. So if mostly cloudy skies, patchy fog, we won't be feeling a chill in the air. It'll be kind of damp. Maybe a little on the dreary side past Sunday to Monday, breezy, dry air moves on and then temperatures start getting colder heading into midweek next week.
