A Yonkers police fundraiser to fight childhood cancer created a buzz over the weekend.
For the first time, two women joined in and got their entire head of hair shaved off for the St. Baldrick's Foundation.
Detective Jackie Estevez was one of the brave women who had her locks chopped off. "People make donations on your behalf. This year we have a couple of women and they raised a ton of money between them. I think they raised $20,000," says PBA President Keith Olson.
Officials say the Yonkers St. Baldrick's events have raised over half a million dollars since they started.
