A former NYPD psychologist accused of shooting her husband as he slept in Yonkers was indicted on attempted murder charges.
Emily Dearden is accused of shooting her real estate developer husband, Kenneth, back in November 2013 in their Yonkers home. Kenneth Dearden survived the shooting.
He claims his wife shot him because she was having an afffair and wanted to end their marriage without going through a messy divorce.
Dearden is scheduled to be arraigned next week in county court. She remains free on bail.
She faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
