A woman hit by a car in Yonkers Saturday night, is clinging to life in the hospital. Police say 56-year-old Maureen McBride was crossing the street in front of Rory Dolan?s Bar and Restaurant when she was struck. Police say the driver came down McLean Avenue and didn?t see the pedestrian. She tried to stop, skidded and hit the woman. The victim was taken to Jacobi Medical Center where she remains on life-support. Police are looking into whether drugs or alcohol were a factor for either the driver or the victim. Detectives say the driver is a 49-year-old woman from the Bronx and no charges have been filed.
