Woman fatally stabbed in Kingsbridge

9h agoA 35-year-old woman was stabbed and later died at a hospital overnight in Kingsbridge Heights.
Police say she was stabbed multiple times in the chest just after 4 a.m. in front of 28 East Kingsbridge Road – the address for Mama Dora Bar & Lounge, which is listed as being open until 4 a.m.
Sources say a fight broke out between two groups, which lead to the stabbing. Neighbors say that fights outside the lounge are pretty common but have never before escalated to this level.
The unidentified woman was taken to BronxCare Health System first. She was then transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln where she was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made as of Sunday afternoon. Police say they are looking for anyone who might have been involved.
