A minor fender bender on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Ardsley turned bizarre when one of the drivers drove straight into the lake Friday.

According to police, after the accident, 27-year-old Tressie Meyers, of New Jersey, and the other driver involved went into a nearby rest stop to exchange information. Police say it was then that Meyers intentionally drove her vehicle into the water.

Police say Meyers seemed irrational and disoriented. Police don?t believe Meyers was under the influence of anything or was trying to injure herself. They say she mentioned something about not liking her truck. She was taken to the hospital for a mental evaluation.
