Woman dies from injuries sustained in Suffern hit-and-run crash

A woman has died from her injuries after being struck in a hit-and-run crash in Suffern near Lafayette Avenue and Woodland Avenue.
Mayor Michael Curley confirmed the 73-year-old died following the Saturday incident.
The victim has been identified as Liubov Riabovol from Ramapo, according to the mayor.
Angel Mendoza Raymundo, 29, was allegedly driving drunk when he hit the woman and fled the scene.
Raymundo was re-arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident.
An off-duty officer later caught Raymundo, who is now in custody, according to police.
