Daquan Perry, a Philadelphia native, was all smiles walking down Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains.
"Eagles are known for heartbreak so...hopefully there's no heartbreak today," said Perry.
Businesses, such as the Candlelight Inn, spent time getting mass amounts of wing orders prepared. Owner John Tracy says the Westchester staple has been prepping for two weeks, with a total of 550 orders.
"Probably have cut about 700 cases of wings, probably over 30,000 pounds of them, getting ready for the week and for today," said Tracy.
According to the National Chicken Council, Americans will eat 1.45 billion wings this year while watching the big game.
