Temperatures will be on the rise for Saturday, especially for places closer to the city. Sections of northern Nassau County could see high temperatures into the upper 70s to low 80s! The East End will see temperatures get up into the 50s across the South Fork and into the 60s and 70s on the North Fork.

A southerly breeze will make the South Shore in general feel cooler than places further inland, especially northern Nassau County. Throughout the day, expect a mix of sun and clouds, breezy winds and a spot shower or two mainly late in the day. It won't be enough to cancel outdoor plans, just something to keep an eye on.

Easter Sunday still sees temperatures at and above normal levels, but that will be a bit cooler than how Saturday will pan out. There will be a cool northwest breeze at times, but it will still be a delightful day to be outside.

The next rain chance arrives overnight Monday into Tuesday morning as a system passes by to the north.

Showers will fade away through Tuesday morning, yielding a mild and breezy afternoon with temperatures into the 60s.

The rest of the week next week is pleasant and seasonal.
